Updated example for Natural Gas (effective 26 June 2025)

Let’s walk through how your overnight charges will now appear on your statement, following the update to our pricing method.

Scenario:

You are long on Natural Gas and holding the position overnight.
The daily price adjustment between front-month futures is 0.4%
The Capital.com admin fee is 0.01096%

Old format (before 26 June 2025):

Component Value How it appears
Price  adjustment 0.40000% Combined into one charge
Admin fee 0.01096%
Total debit 0.41096% One line in your statement

New format (from 26 June 2025):

Component Value How it appears
Daily premium adjustment 0.40000% As a separate line item
Admin fee 0.01096% As a separate line item
Total debit 0.41096% Same overall cost, better clarity

If you were short in the same scenario:

You would receive a credit of 0.4% from the price adjustment
You would still pay the admin fee of 0.01096%
Your net credit would be: 0.38904%

Summary
